Captain Desert Camp is a relatively new desert camp located within the beautiful, protected area of Wadi Rum. It offers accommodation facilities along with traditional Bedouin meals around a well lit bonfire. This is a genuine desert Bedouin camp, offering trips around the area, including jeep tours and horse riding in the Wadi.
Captain Desert Camp offers two types of trips:
Wadi Rum Sunset Trip: This trip is organised daily, all year round. It is a jeep tour for three hours and the fee is inclusive of transportation, lunch at Rum Gate Restaurant and one free drink.
Wadi Rum Round Trip and Overnight Stay: This trip includes a stay at the Bedouin-style Captain Desert Camp, a jeep tour for three hours, entrance fees, transportation, breakfast and dinner.

Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults.
- Children under the age of 12 will get a 50% discount on room rates.
- Children under 12 will get a 50% discount on meal rates.
- Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.
50% will be deducted for cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival. Full amount will be charged for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date.
