This tour is recommended for those who would like to visit Petra and the major attractions of Jordan. In this short five-day tour, there will be a full day dedicated to Petra, the ancient Nabatean Capital.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Amman: Upon arriving at the Queen Alia International Airport, a member from the tour company meets guests and assists them with all the necessary customs and immigration procedures. Guests are then transferred to Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Amman, Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Wadi Mujib, Kerak, Petra: After breakfast, guests visit the ancient town of Madaba, renowned for its historical mosaics, and Mt. Nebo Monastery. Early afternoon, the group proceeds to Kerak to explore its famous castle, which dates back to the Byzantine period. The group then head to Petra, where overnight stay in organised.

Day 3 - Petra: After breakfast, guests head out for a full day of exploring Petra. The tour starts with a horse ride to the Siq, a long narrow canyon between overhanging cliffs, sight seeing at the amazing treasury and proceeds to visit the royal tombs and the rest of the city. Overnight stay in organised in Petra.

Day 4 - Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea: After breakfast, the group departs to the famous desert of Wadi Rum for a jeep tour of the panoramic desert. Next is a visit to the amazing Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual places in the world. Overnight stay is organised at Dead Sea.

Day 5 - Dead Sea, departure: After breakfast, guests are transferred to the airport. The tour operators take care of all the departure formalities.

Cancellation policy

The cancellation policy is as follows:

- for cancellations made seven days before departure, there will be no fees charged

- for cancellations madethree to seven days before departure,50% of the total tour amount is charged as cancellation fees

- for cancellations made less than three days before departure and in case of no-shows, the total cost of the tour will be charged

- no refunds are possible.

Children Policy

Children under 12 years sharing the room with their parents get 40% discount.

The tour cost is inclusive of airport assistance, transfers by a modern air conditioned vehicle, tours and sightseeing, entrance fees, horse ride in Petra, services of a local guide in Petra and accommodation at three or four-star hotels on bed and breakfast basis.

The tour cost does not include visa cost, tips, lunches, drinks, personal expenses, travel insurance and anything else not mentioned above.

Guests are requested to contact the operators if they would prefer five-star accommodation.
