Kings Castle

Situated on the Kings' Highway, Kerak is chiefly known for its castle, one of the chain of Crusader Castles, which once stretched from Turkey to the Egyptian border.

Citadel of Kerak (Qasr),a former Crusader stronghold, was ransacked by Saladin and left to rot for 500 years until restoration started. It would be impressive if it was rebuilt as it once was, but at the moment it's a confusing and entirely undocumented jumble of collapsed ceilings and unlit corridors.

Late check-outs are subject to availability of rooms.

For children staying with parents, the following policy applies:

- children over 12 years are considered adults

- children under 12 years get 50% discount on room rates

- children under 12 years get 50% discount on meal rates

- children requiring their own room are charged adult rates.

If a cancellation is made 30 or more days prior to arrival, guests will be charged 50% of the booking fee. If, however, a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to arrival, then the full booking amount will be charged.
