Traveller Comments:
"Very charming place. Bathrooms could need a little refreshment. Breakfast very good - but restaurant dissapointing"

"Great hotel with lots of character. A map of how to find the hotel would have been very useful."

"Taybet Zaman resort is a resort full of character, having transformed a historic mountain village into a resort, while maintaining the character of the village.
Very clean and service was good.
Not a five star resort in the traditional resort sense, but highly recommended for the experience and character."
Mr. Inga B. - Australia on 17/02/2010

"This hotel does not cater for independant travellers - it is geared to coach parties. Whilst of interesting design, indeed you can hardly see it from the road above and I can certainly endorse the qualities of the hamman, it is, at least now, very much geared up to coach travellers. They really don't know what to do with independent visitors and try very hard to push you in with whatever party is there giving you the choice of the buffet or ! the buffet. After a lot or argument, not least that we were paying individually rather more than a coach party's rates and did not like buffets, we were allowed to order a la carte. The food was abysmal. There was no party the following night and they produced a specially requested 'Jordanian' meal normally restricted to five or more as a special concession for us two. This was very good but given the price of 57 JD, and the quantity, we suspect that this was the standard 'for five'! However, the following night another coach turned up and we were back to the battle of the buffet. We were very disappointed and feel that other independent travellers should be warned that they have absolutely no understanding that two people may wish to order their own food and sit outside on the terrace in the moonlight rather than share a buffet with 66 people they don't know in a stuffy dining room smelling of the burners used to keep the food warm!"
